Spring Cocktail Buzz: Bee’s Knees

Spring Cocktail Buzz: Bee’s Knees

It’s been a long winter, but spring is finally here and we’re welcoming the season with the color and a taste of honey! Gold and yellow tones are always expressive of spring, from blooming sunflowers to stunning sunsets, and our new collection of honey-tinted shades are welcomed bursts of color—paired with your favorite floral dress or a pastel polo, they’re the perfect finishing touch to your seasonal look!

For a taste of spring, we love the refreshing sting of a Bees Knees cocktail to buzz in the season! A prohibition-era drink with an herbal flavor profile from the gin, and a hint of sweetness from the honey, it’s the perfect cocktail to entertain friends. Here’s how to make it:

  • Ice
  • ¾ ounce honey syrup (1 tablespoon of honey mixed with ½ tablespoon of warm water)
  • ¾ ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 ounces of gin

Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour the gin, followed by the lemon juice and honey syrup. Makes one cocktail.

So, pack away those blacks and grays for next winter, shop our new spring collection of honey-colored lenses, and make a toast with friends to sunnier days ahead!
